A job well done

Well… it’s kinda summer here in good ol’ sunny Seattle. So… that means yard work.

The first item on my “Honey Do” list has been to trim those two outta control trees in the back yard. So, today I got a good start. Ok… maybe better than a good start. I’d say about 90% done.

We bought a chainsaw a while back specifically to get these trees done and today was the first time I got to use it. I must say that it was kinda fun to feel all husbandly and stuff climbing ladders and playing with power tools! Plus, I only fell once and didn’t break anything.

What fun would this little chore be without the dog. After all, she isn’t our little “Wood Chipper” for not. Plus, anytime she can spend in the back yard with daddy and some sticks… she takes.

So… do yourself a favor and come on over this summer to play with the dog and BBQ some burgers. There is now plenty of room and we won’t set a tree on fire.
