I never thought I would find a stable relationship, let alone have a baby. Seriously… who saw that coming!? But, alas… I am almost 40 years old and life is short. So why not procreate, eh? Isn’t that what I am supposed to do?
If you didn’t know, the wife and I have been trying for almost a year now. And from what I hear, that is about a typical time line. I’ve also heard that, “You should relax and go on vacation. That will get you pregnant.”
The funny part of this story is… I did go on vacation to check out my Dad’s new house in Idaho. And when I got back, there was a positive pregnancy test sitting on the shelf in the bathroom.
“It worked!” I thought to myself. But… wait… weren’t we supposed to go on vacation together? Anyhow, I suppose that it doesn’t matter too much in the end. What matters is that we are finally pregnant.
I must admit that I have been busting at the seams for the last several weeks trying to keep it quiet. Y’all know I have a big mouth and get excited easily. So, it is quite a relief that I can finally announce to the world that Karin and I are going to have a BABY!
Don’t worry… We’ll let the lot of you know what kind of fancy stuff y’all can buy us and what your babysitting schedule is soon.
P.S. For those of you who have been asking… we are due in the first week of December. Go Sagittarius!
P.S.S. We found out we’re gonna have a BOY!
